This July 2012, the Community Foundation Sonoma County awarded a Russian River Community Trust grant for $1,100 to the Friends of Monte Rio for the provision of a community outdoor Public Address system. The PA system will be available to non-profit groups holding events at MR Rec & Park or MR Chamber venues.
